La BMW porta Eng alla 24h di Spa con la Walkenhorst Motorsport
L'austriaco sarà sulla M6 GT3 del team tedesco sulle Ardenne, sostituendo Mostert e condividendo il volante con Farfus e Catsburg.

La BMW Motorsport ha ufficializzato i nomi dei suoi piloti che vedremo in azione alla 24h di Spa-Francorchamps, secondo round dell'Intercontinental GT Challenge 2020.
Sulle Ardenne la Casa bavarese avrà la M6 GT3 gestita dalla Walkenhorst Motorsport a rappresentarla, come già accaduto in occasione della 12h di Bathurst che ha aperto la stagione della serie endurance.
In Australia a condividere il volante della vettura #34 erano stati Augusto Farfus, Nicky Catsburg e l'idolo locale Chaz Mostert; quest'ultimo non è disponibile per l'evento del 23-26 luglio, dunque il suo sostituto sarà Philipp Eng.
L'austriaco si unirà a Farfus e Catsburg in quella che è la rincorsa al tris, dato che a Spa ha già vinto nel 2016 e nel 2018 come portacolori di BMW Motorsport, conducendo rispettivamente le M6 GT3 di ROWE Racing e proprio Walkenhorst Motorsport.
