Argentina, PS1: Ogier di un soffio su Meeke
Tre Volkswagen nelle prime quattro posizioni nella breve prova inaugurale, solo il pilota della Citroen si oppone
Con la brevissima "Merlo-San Luis", la PS1 di appena 2,68 km con fondo misto, si sono aperte le ostilità del Rally di Argentina, quarta tappa del Mondiale Rally 2015. E ad aprire le danze è stato il dominatore di questo primo scorcio di stagione, ovvero Sebastien Ogier.
Il pilota della Volkswagen, vincitore delle tre gare già disputate quest'anno ha chiuso con crono di 2'32"0 e in questo modo ha distanziato di appena 0"2 la Citroen DS3 WRC di Kris Meeke, già molto veloce anche nello shakedown di oggi.
Terza e quarta posizione poi per le altre due Polo R WRC di Andreas Mikkelsen e di Jari-Matti Latvala, con il norvegese che ha realizzato lo stesso identico tempo di Meeke ed il finlandese che invece è stato più lento di un decimo.
Seguono le due Hyundai i20 WRC di Dani Sordo e Thierry Neuville, a loro volta molto vicine alla vetta della classifica, mentre la migliore delle Ford Fiesta RS WRC è quella dell'italiano Lorenzo Bertelli, accreditato del settimo tempo a 1"6, davanti anche all'altra Citroen ufficiale di Mads Ostberg.
