Portogallo, PS14: Ogier vince e allunga ancora su Neuville
Grande prova del 4 volte iridato, che stacca ulteriormente Thierry Neuville. Sordo gestisce il suo terzo posto. Ottimo tempo di Esapekka Lappi, mentre Hanninen è alle prese con un guasto sulla sua Toyota.

Sébastien Ogier è sempre più in fuga. Il 4 volte iridato in carica, oggi pilota del team M-Sport, ha vinto la Prova Speciale 14, la Cabeceiras de Basto 2 di 22,30 chilometri, aumentando ancora il suo giù cospicuo vantaggio nei confronti di Thierry Neuville.
Ogier ha probabilmente dato il colpo di grazia a tutti i rivali, tanto che lo stesso Thierry Neuville ha affermato a fine prova che "Mister Ogier non è battibile al momento qui. Sarà molto difficile che riesca a centrare la terza vittoria di fila".
Anche Daniel Sordo sembra accontentarsi del terzo posto che occupa attualmente. Lo spagnolo della Hyundai è ormai troppo distante da Neuville e il suo vantaggio su Breen, quarto in classifica con la prima Citroen nella Top 10, è consistente.
Ottimo quinto tempo ottenuto da un Esapekka Lappi sempre più in fiducia al volante della Toyota Yaris. Il finnico ha anche scalato una posizione nella classifica generale approfittando di problemi elettrici sulla Toyota gemella di Juho Hanninen.
