Polonia, PS19: Tanak amministra la vetta, Lefebvre sbatte
Il francese danneggia la sospensione posteriore sinistra della sua DS3 e scivola fuori dalla top ten. Davanti la Ford gommata DMack dell'estone mantiene 18"3 sulla Volkswagen di Mikkelsen. Latvala vince la speciale: il quinto posto è vicino.

Con le posizioni al vertice che ormai sembrano essere piuttosto consolidate, l'unico sussulto arrivato dalla PS19 del Rally di Polonia è stato l'errore di Stephane Lefebvre, che ha gettato via quindi il settimo posto della sua Citroen DS3 WRC.
Il francese è andato largo in una curva a destra, urtando ad alta velocità contro un banco di terra. Questo ha danneggiato sensibilmente la sospensione posteriore sinistra della sua vettura. Pur essendo riuscito a concludere gli 8,55 km cronometrati, lo ha fatto con oltre quattro minuti di ritardo, quindi precipitando fuori dalla zona punti e regalando una posizione al compagno Craig Breen, ma anche ad Eric Camilli, Mads Ostberg e Dani Sordo, che quindi entra nella top 10, ma anche lui ha urtato un banco di terra, quindi teme conseguenze.
A fare le spese dell'uscita di Lefebvre è stato anche Sebastien Ogier: il francese ha spiegato di aver visto sul dashboard l'indicazione della bandiera gialla e di essere stato quindi costretto ad alzare il piede. Ora quindi nella lotta per il quinto posto si ritrova a 18"3 dall'altra Volkswagen di Jari-Matti Latvala, che è stato il vincitore della speciale.
Davanti, come detto, rimane tutto invariato praticamente con la Ford Fiesta RS WRC gommata DMack di Ott Tanak che è ancora al comand con 18"6 sulla Polo R WRC di Andreas Mikkelsen, che a sua volta può amministrare 12"9 sulla Hyundai i20 di Hayden Paddon. 20" più indietro segue Thierry Neuville.
