Mir: "Marquez non è stato rapito, si è infortunato"
Joan Mir ha risposto in maniera chiara a coloro che credono che l'assenza per infortunio di Marc Marquez sminuisca il valore del titolo MotoGP conquistato con la Suzuki.

Da quando è diventato chiaro che l'infortunio di Marc Marquez sarebbe stato una cosa lunga, molti hanno cominciato a teorizzare sul valore di un campionato macchiato dall'assenza del vincitore di sei degli ultimi sette titoli.
Lo stesso discorso è stato fatto a Joan Mir domenica, dopo che è si è guadagnato il titolo di erede al trono di Marc. Al pilota della Suzuki, infatti, è stato domandato come risponde a chi la pensa in questa maniera.
"Le persone che dicono questo, lo fanno perché non ne sanno molto di moto. Penso che sia così che stanno le cose" ha detto il nuovo campione del mondo.
"Se Marc non è qui non è perché è stato rapito. Non sono andati a casa sua a prenderlo ed è scomparso. Marc era alla prima gara, ha corso dei rischi per vincere e per cercare di vincere il campionato. Ha commesso un errore che gli è costato la stagione, questo è tutto".

"Non considero questo titolo meno meritato perché l'ho vinto quando Marquez era infortunato".
A questo punto gli è stato chiesto anche se il prossimo anno metterà il numero 1 sulla sua moto, cosa che in MotoGP non si vede dal 2011, quando ad utilizzarlo fu un altro maiorchino, Jorge Lorenzo.
"Non lo so, ci sto pensando" ha concluso, lasciando la porta aperta.
