Chiuso il 2020 con un modesto ottavo posto in classifica Costruttori, con appena 8 punti raccolti, l’Alfa Romeo Sauber sembra aver iniziato il 2021 con un passo decisamente diverso. In occasione della tre giorni di test pre-stagionali andati in scena in Bahrain, la C41 affidata a Kimi Raikkonen ed Antonio Giovinazzi è parsa subito una lontana parente della deludente C39, regalando sensazioni positive ai due piloti titolari.
Sono stati ben 422 i giri totali percorsi dal finlandese e dall’italiano nel weekend di Sakhir, senza che particolari problemi rallentassero il programma di lavoro prestabilito.
