Doppio colpo per l'Audi WRT: ecco Benoit Treluyer e Jake Dennis
L'Audi Team WRT ha annunciato la sua line-up completa per la stagione 2017 della Blancpain GT Series e i nuovi arrivi sono Benoit Treluyer e Jake Dennis, con la conferma di Robin Frijns.

La squadra belga aveva già annunciato che nella Endurance Series avrebbe affidato una delle sue R8 al terzetto composto da Will Stevens, Marcel Fassler e Dries Vanthoor.
Accanto a Fassler, dal programma LMP1 arriva anche Benoit Treluyer, che correrà nella Endurance Series in equipaggio con Stephane Richelmi e Nathanael Berthon, entrambi provenienti dalla LMP2.
Per quanto riguarda lo sbarco di Jake Dennis, il pilota seguito dalla Racing Steps Foundation dividerà la vettura #17 con il britannico Stuart Leonard e con Robin Frijns. L'ultimo trio in pista nel BES sarà invece composto da Josh Caygill, Niki Mayr-Melnhof e Jonathan Venter.
Saranno addirittura cinque invece le vetture schierate nella Sprint Series, a partire da quella che vede la conferma dei campioni in carica Enzo Ide e Christopher Mies.
Alla squadra si aggiungono anche Pieter Schothorst, vincitore della classe Pro del Renault Sport Trophy 2016, e Markus Winkelhock, che divideranno l'abitacolo rispettivamente con Dennis e Stevens.
Gli ultimi due equipaggi sono invece composti dalle coppie Fassler/Vanthoor e Frijns/Leonard.
Frijns sarà però costretto a saltare tre appuntamenti in questa stagione a causa delle concomitanze con la Formula E: in occasione delle gare di Misano, Silverstone e Spa-Francorchamps al suo posto correrà Jamie Green.
